🔴Meekness & Humility

written by: Torrie Slaughter

Today we begin reading the book of Isaiah, a prophet and man of God sent to warn God’s people. Isaiah was chosen because he recognized his sinful nature, and God calls Him to a higher office. Spiritually, there is nothing more satisfying than knowing God’s will for our lives and being His faithful servant.

However…

In this fallen world, not all people appreciate the transforming truth of God’s Word. And as the Apostle Paul also faced enemy’s to the Gospel, we can expect the same.

As you read the assigned passages, think about your testimony and how you glorify God. Have you approached the throne of His grace with meekness and humility?

We make a mindful transition and create new thought patterns when we utilize God’s Word and embrace our current circumstances. Acknowledge who you’ve become and ask God if you’re abiding, trusting, and loving Him through your mindfulness. Remember, our Heavenly Father gives us the power to withstand attacks and keep pressing forward with His purpose.
