🔴Great Grace

written by: Torrie Slaughter

Have you ever felt far from God? Perhaps you did something, and the broken fellowship created a void in your heart. What’s worst is that you don’t think that God could forgive you.

HOWEVER, God releases us from the bondage of sin. Pray earnestly with a remorseful, repentant heart. (Meditate on Psalm 51:3,6)

Healing

Oh, the benefits of being restored. (Psalm 51:12) And it’s not only available to you, everyone can experience God’s mercy! Our Lord removes transgression from us as far as the east is from the west.

God forgave my rebellious nature. As I realized I was healed, I could remove the bandages of bondage. Now I can testify to His grace and witness to those who feel discouraged. The pruning away of old habits produces new growth and obedience yields productivity.

This year I learned. I opened myself up to understanding and then passed it on. (Psalm 51:13)

Love lifted me

When Nothing else would do.

Absolve

The effect of forgiveness is the restoration of the parties involved to the former state of a relationship. We want to be restored to Christ our God first, which means we must forgive others. Forgiveness is a duty and limitless….yes, that means repeated.

By trusting in God for the right things, we can have confidence that our Lord will provide.

Prayer: Lord my God, we trust you to remove anything that hinders us from bearing fruit. We know you can do the impossible, help us in our unbelief that we may follow wholeheartedly after you. Father, you work all things together for good and will graciously give us all things. We will bear with one another and forgive each other as you, our Lord, have forgiven us. We put on the love that binds everything together in perfect harmony. We are thankful. Amen
