Hello People of Purpose!
Season three of Our Given Purpose the Podcast and Talking on Purpose with Torrie, focuses on identifying the emotional pitfalls that keep us from walking in and working on our given purpose.
I hope you will tune in every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to study God’s Word, pray, reflect, and, most importantly, write! Journaling will provide a tangible way to keep track of our progress and thoughts throughout this year. Each Podcast and Internet show offers an opportunity to move beyond our limited human vision into a God-centered uninterrupted view.
On Tuesday, January 7, 2020, Our Given Purpose, the Podcast began the course of identifying our major emotional blocks. We start with anger and work our way through arrogance, pride, and fear. Each of these extreme emotions breeds and molds our character.
This year my prayer is that we will all pause before we speak or react. In doing so, we become doers of the Word and not just hearers of it. James 1:19-21 is the foundation of this first 12 -week session.
