🟥The Message:
The Scam of Fear:
Scam to deceive and defraud (someone).
Manipulate– control or influence (a person or situation) cleverly, unfairly, or unscrupulously.
2 Corinthians 10:5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,

Meditate plan mentally; consider: to think carefully about something.
Think carefully and consider God’s Word every moment of every day. He does not give us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and self-control. To be transformed by the renewing of our minds means we must do our work. Clarifying, organizing, and preparing to do our assignment each day takes strategic planning with God.
🟥 Take Action
🟡 Clarify. What spirit did God give us? Power, love, and self-control. If God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, then from where did it come? Ask God for wisdom and discernment, knowing the enemy will want to divide, conqueror, and destabilize our relationships.
🟡 Organize. Fear leads us to believe we are working on our behalf, but in truth, we are just underlings fulfilling an evil agenda orchestrated by Satan. The Apostle Paul writes in Ephesians 6:6-7, “Try to please them all the time, not just when they are watching you. As slaves of Christ, do the will of God with all your heart. 7 Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.”
Work enthusiastically to please the Lord and take every thought captive! (2 Corinthians 10:5)
🟡 Prepare. Jeremiah 12:5 reminds us to prepare! “If racing against mere men makes you tired, how will you race against horses? If you stumble and fall on open ground, what will you do in the thickets near the Jordan?”
We can not change what has already happened, but we can adjust our approach to the wickedness of our sinful nature when we pray and ask God to soften our hearts to hear His Words.
