🟥The Message:

The Bitterness of Fear:

Mentoring is a long-term process based on mutual trust and respect.

Can we have a better Mentor, Father, or Counselor than God?

Who better to model our lives after than Christ! It says in Psalm 147:5 Great is our Lord and abundant in power, His understanding is beyond measure.

“Ulterior motives will take time away from cultivating relationships in fertile soil; instead, it will counterfeit love by replacing it with temporary happiness.” -Torrie Slaughter

Meditate plan mentally; consider: to think carefully about something.
Think carefully and consider God’s Word every moment of every day. He does not give us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and self-control. To be transformed by the renewing of our minds means we must do our work. Clarifying, organizing, and preparing to do our assignment each day takes strategic planning with God.

🟥 Take Action

Recap of Part One:

We opened with acknowledging Fear has experience. It has a resume. And I asked: “What does it say to you?” I wondered if you had hired Fear? We defined mentoring as the long-term process based on mutual trust and respect, recognizing God as the ultimate Mentor, Counselor, and Father. Having Christ as the perfect role model! Great is our Lord.
We concluded that session by reading several scriptures, and I asked you to read with God as the central person as you meditated on His Word.

We can practice reading the Bible with God as the primary person spoken about or the reason behind the events. When we do that, we see a story unfold in a way that produces love, answers questions, and gives us hope that we will see a glorious future in the heavenly realm.

What will you do today to facilitate the renewal of your mind?

How will you take action to implement the things God has purposed for you? Are you aligned with Him or following the world’s standard of success?

Colossians 2:14 By canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.

Psalm 90:12 “So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom. “
