Journal Prompts

Pause and calmly think about:

  • Your willingness to change your attitude?
  • Have you surrounded yourself with like-minded people both spiritually and regarding your work?
  • Do you trust God to strengthen your resolve to move beyond inconvenience or disagreements?
Lord, help us to pick up your Word, which is a mighty sword. Teach us to think more like You and behave with an eternal vision. Restore us so that we may reflect the grace and mercy we receive from your everlasting love. Thank you for this platform and all who will experience a breakthrough in meditation and prayer while communicating with you. Be with us, Lord. In Your name, I pray. Amen.

Order in the Court, The Podcast

Greetings Purposeful Family,

Our minds seek justice for us in ever situation. How do we follow God’s command in the midst of injustice? Today’s podcast was inspired by a recent conversation. As I prayed with a dear friend we began to turn fear into excitement. Once the Holy Spirit placed that emotion in our hearts we began giving God praise. No matter what we are going through our God is just and fair. We choose how we feel and react. I pray you will use this example as a guide to improve your mindset.

Strange Behavior

Focus Scripture: Proverbs 3:1-8

Hello Purposeful People!

In today’s podcast, Strange Behavior, I share one of the many bad decisions I’ve made. While I am not proud of my approach I am grateful to have learned a lesson. I gained clarity. I know what it means to not lean-to my own understanding. Now I  recognize when my emotions are trying to take over. My heart belongs to God and as time goes on He shows me how much I am His.

My Brothers and Sisters in Christ if you understand the grace and mercy God extends to us will you please join me in showing more of it to our neighbors? If we can all make a greater effort to allow others to see Christ in us, we can make a powerful impact. Love begins at home, that means becoming disciplined with reading God’s Word and studying His Character.

Are you willing to take 30 minutes each day to read the Word of God out loud? Read to yourself, your spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, or even your pet. Let the Word change you from within. If you’ve never done this before, may I also suggest starting with the book of John in the New Testament? This small amount of time can replace a tv show or even scrolling through social media.

Change is not easy, but doing it together strengthens our bond within the body of Christ.

Thank you for your consideration and I hope this will create a positive change within your home.

I love you all!
