Sprinkled Seeds, A Mentoring Podcast

SHOW NOTES: http://www.ourgivenpurpose.com
👋 Hello, Person of Purpose!

Welcome to today’s mentoring session: Sprinkled Seeds! Please keep your Bible and notebooks open. Take notes as you hear ideas that spark curiosity. We have an opportunity to listen and grasp spiritual things within mundane activities. Use the power of divine understanding to implement your system of action.  Jesus tells us we have the power to see and hear more than is revealed. How we apply that to every situation is our choice.

Have you given away treasures because you didn’t see the immediate value?

~Torrie

🟥 Take Action

What is a seed?

It is an embryonic plant in an outer protective covering. Nothing happens with the seed until it is placed in an area to develop. We can refer to the parable of the Sower (Matthew 13:1-9) to meditate. Where have you planted seeds? Have your roots begun to sprout?

  1. Have we cultivated a community of empowered people to pursue their purpose within the Kingdom?
  2. Do we employ individuals to build their ministries as a way of increasing Christ’s ambassadors?

⇒ Read Matthew 13:18-23 and ask through prayer what seeds am I intentionally planting?

A Revelation?

Personal revelations is an enlightening or astonishing disclosure shocking revelations. Challenging society and standing firm will help us understand our mistakes, rebellion, and misguided attempts to control other people. We are destined to live a life led by God for His divine purpose. Remember who you are in Christ and the intention for which He made you.

Scriptures for Meditation:🔻 Matthew 13:1-9, Matthew 13:18-23

“As believers, we can impact lives in the tiniest of ways. We have become great servants under our Abba Father’s rule.”

A Daily Purpose

Bible Study & Devotional (January 3, 2021)

Guiding Scripture: Mark 8:38 If anyone is ashamed of me, and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”

🔴 THE CHOCOLATE EASTER BUNNY

Remember getting Easter baskets? Think about how well-shaped it was with the long ears that you just couldn’t wait to bite off! Or was it the head? Maybe it was the feet? Whichever part it was after the first bite, you immediately discover that it is hollow on the inside!

It’s empty!

Is the Christmas holiday proclaimed by Christians to celebrate the Birth of Christ empty? Think about all the gifts, talents, love, grace, mercy, breath, life, health, protection, the blessings that God has gifted you.

  • What gift are you willing to give Him?
  • Do you even know what He wants? Have you asked Him?

Living a life without Jesus Christ is empty, meaningless, pointless, insignificant, and without purpose!

It does not matter how hard you have worked. How much you have given or your economic status.  If you refuse Christ after hearing that God sent him to save you, your life will be empty. God will not force Himself on anyone, and if you desire to forsake Him, he gives you the motive of your heart. We have a choice, and God allows us to choose. We can embrace Him, or we can want Satan! We will undoubtedly spend eternity with only one of them.

Let us Pray: Lord, we shudder at the thought of spending a life without you. As believers, we pray, Lord, that you will have those who do not yet believe to have a change of heart. Thank you, Lord, for waiting patiently for your return to allow everyone to come to you. Please fill us, Lord, with Holy Ghost Power to go out and witness to others of your saving grace. Thank you, Jesus. Amen

🔺 One Day

by Irvine Saint-Vilus

One day, while visiting a sickly man in the hospital, he turned to me with weepy eyes and said, “I will not make it out of here alive.” He went on to say that he was reaping the consequences of his bad decisions. As I observed his fragile and bruised frame, my heart dropped like lead to the pit of my stomach. I could not conjure up the right words to provide him any comfort.

Trust God!

Silently, I prayed, “Lord, what should I say to this man to bring him hope or peace?”

The Holy Spirit deposited a Word in my spirit, and I said to him, “You are still alive, I would encourage you to make the most of your time.”

How fitting is this Word, especially for believers!

Have Faith!

Are we taking every opportunity to share the gospel with those who do not know our Savior Jesus Christ? In John 9:4, Jesus tells His disciples, “We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work.

While we are given the precious gift of time, we must tell people about the saving grace of Christ before it is too late. By using every occasion, platform, and venue we have, we can live out our God-given purpose! Proclaim His Word of love. We will win souls for His kingdom and make the most of our lives. Then on that glorious day, when we see our Lord face-to-face in the heavenly place, with joy and gladness in our hearts, we will hear Him say the sweetest words, “Well done, good and faithful servant!” (Matthew 2:23).

Daily Bible Study with Purpose

Romans 8:37-39 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

🔴 MAINTAINING YOUR SANITY

First, as a disclaimer, In no way is this message to downplay the real disease of Mental Illness. Mental illness is a valid concern among many of the world’s population and does not respect wealth, poverty, race, or gender.

We need the Holy Spirit’s power to keep calm during trials and tribulations.

Maintaining sanity means that we would have soundness, lucidity, stability, and rationality. How can that be possible in this world? What is sound about our political scene? Is it rational how a country with this much wealth can treat its inhabitants so poorly? Where is the logic in our justice system?

While Satan is busy doing his job, we would be sane to remember God’s truth. Our Lord gave us a spirit of power, love, and self-control. His future for those who oppose Him is exact. We have a choice to fight against God or with Him to conquer our daily demons.

Let us pray: Lord, in reading your word, we know that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. We are more than conquerors because of your presence within us by your Holy Spirit. Heavenly Father, please teach us to live obedient and Holy lives for your glory with no condemnation. Thank you. Amen
