Bible reading for today’s podcast: Proverbs 4:1-7
Hello Purposeful People!
As you listen to ‘Go Get that Wisdom’ I want you to ask yourself have I ever said this:
- They drive like a bat outta hell!
- He is going to drink himself into an early grave.
- She is gonna get herself killed if she keeps being reckless.
- He is spending money like it grows on trees.
- They won’t let her keep sliding by without paying the mortgage.
- He needs to find something else to do with his life and stop chasing dreams.
If you’ve said any one of these statements or even thought them what wisdom do you gain from it?
The thoughts or prejudices we hold against others will not help them seek God nor will it help us grow. If you can think of a specific person to attract the above phrases to I pray you will (if you are led to) find a way to intervene. It will cost you some time and perhaps even try your patience but it will be impactful to the both of you in the end.
