Hello, Person of Purpose!
This week Our Given Purpose®, the ministry held exclusive mentoring sessions via the podcast. It was a pleasure to write, research, and plan content with our Lord and Savior. With an open Bible sitting on my desk, I asked God to guide me. I am grateful to be anchored in our Lord and trust in Him to keep me focused on the present and not hindered by the past. First impressions are lasting, there are few people who will endure the opinionated and often false perceptions we have. I am praying for all of us to seek God before entering into relationships that will damage our spirits and view of His people. Keep being aware of the devices of the enemy. Do not allow the adversary to kill, to steal, or to destroy that which God planted for your good. The lessons have blessings.

Elements of Arrogance & Pride Lesson Six Week Six
On Tuesday, January 7, 2020, Our Given Purpose, the Podcast we began the course of identifying our major emotional blocks. We start with anger and work our way through arrogance, pride, and fear. Each of these extreme emotions breeds and molds our character.
This year my prayer is that we will all pause before we speak or react. In doing so, we become doers of the Word and not just hearers of it. James 1:19-21 is the foundation of this first 12 -week session.
