Hello, Person of Purpose!
Season four of Our Given Purpose the Podcast and Talking on Purpose with Torrie, has begun! The break we wanted to take didn’t pan out as we had hoped. Covid-19 took the lives of many friends, loved ones, and shook families to their core. There was much to learn as God told us to be still and trust Him.
Thank you for your prayers, support, emails, and other messages. We have enjoyed staying connected. As we are still facing uncertainty, we at Our Given Purpose® urge you to practice safety measures. The community needs mature Christians with solid faith. Let’s put on our armor and spread the Gospel of our Sovereign Lord. Share love, resources, conversations, and content to help small businesses. As a Church body, the stimulus of eternity with our Lord gives us hope beyond hope.

Season 4 Arrogance and Pride Lesson One Week One
On Tuesday, January 7, 2020, Our Given Purpose, the Podcast we began the course of identifying our major emotional blocks. We start with anger and work our way through arrogance, pride, and fear. Each of these extreme emotions breeds and molds our character.
This year my prayer is that we will all pause before we speak or react. In doing so, we become doers of the Word and not just hearers of it. James 1:19-21 is the foundation of this first 12 -week session.
