Daily Steps Towards Intentional Planning, The Podcast

Daily Steps Towards Intentional Planning, The Podcast

👋 Hello, Person of Purpose!

You are actively participating in this 12-week session focused on arrogance and pride. Through these exclusive mentoring sessions, it is our hope that you are able to articulate your feeling in a productive way. Defining Present Moment Awareness is an example of the framework we use to help you achieve that goal.  Share your thoughts in the comment section or on any of our social media pages. We want to hear from you! As we grow in emotional intelligence, we can handle the struggles we know lay ahead. Application is the key to pursuing a life of meaning!

🟥 The Message:

Defining Present Moment Awareness the Podcast. The message of today’s exclusive mentoring session comes to us from Proverbs 16:1-9. We use verse one to clarify, verse 2 to organize, and verse 9 to prepare.

We begin with the C of copping our purpose. Clarity means determining what we need to be aware of and using Proverbs 16:1 as a frame. The O of copping our goal is found in Proverbs 16:2. We organize our thoughts by identifying areas to increase commitment. Finally, the P of copping our purpose with Proverbs 16:9 as an example of how to surrender to God.  The answers you provide to the journal prompts, and the exercise will guide you toward a different perspective; this is how we will Clarify.Organize.Prepare.

🔺This session began with an overview of 2 Corinthians 12 in Elements of Arrogance and Pride 101 the Podcast. Our focal scripture for the next 12 weeks is 2 Corinthians 12:20. The Apostle Paul helps us because he was obedient to the will of God. Let’s glean from his messages to the people of Corinth today. We do not want our Lord and Savior to return, finding us in the same state of rebellion or wickedness. To be transformed by the renewing of our minds means we must do our work. Clarifying, organizing, and preparing to do our assignment each day takes strategic planning with God.

🔺 Journal Prompts:

  1. What is my end goal?
  2. What is not working in my current routine?
  3. Am I always rushing to get to places on time?
  4. Am I easily frustrated or irritated?
  5. What change would be the most effective, and how committed am I to making the change?

1. Strategize with God! Sit down and lay everything before Him. Talk to our Lord about your anxieties, fears, and frustrations. Tell Him what you are excited about. Then ask how you can fulfill the assignment He has given you. Let God establish your plans.
2. Break your day into bite-sized pieces. Don’t try to tackle massive projects all at once. Set your phone timer or alarm and devote a constant focus to your task.
3. Listen to podcasts centered on the areas you want to develop.
4. Stop being reactive in the morning. Before picking your phone to check messages, emails, or other notifications, give God praise and adoration!
