🔴 ARE YOU GOING TO HEAVEN?

John 3:3 Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Listen closely!

Jesus tells us that God’s house has many rooms and that He will prepare a place for each of us. To go to heaven – God’s house, we must be born again. Not physically but spiritually with the indwelling of God’s Holy Spirit. Jesus taught this to a Pharisee named Nicodemus, who went at night to see Jesus. You can read more of this in John 3:1-15. Reading further, we see that Nicodemus is developing a relationship with Jesus by seemingly wanting to protect or defend Him to the Jewish Leaders.

John 7:50-51 “Nicodemus, who had gone to him before, and who was one of them, said to them, 51 “Does our law judge a man without first giving him a hearing and learning what he does?”

Later in 19 John:38-42, we read how Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes weighing about seventy-five pounds. He is accompanied by Joseph of Arimathea and they wrapped Jesus’ body following Jewish burial customs.

The Bible does not tell us whether Nicodemus repented or became a believer in Jesus Christ. But we know what Jesus tells us! We must be born again by confessing and believing that Jesus is the only Lord and Savior. Asking Jesus to forgive our sin and to come into our hearts. Once we humbly surrender our life to Jesus Christ, God gives us His gift of Salvation. God fills us with His Holy Spirit to guide us into righteous living in a relationship with Him. We are redeemed by His Blood and sealed for His heavenly Kingdom.
