🔴 ACCENTUATE THE POSITIVE
ELIMINATE THE NEGATIVE
Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
The next time you encounter a toxic person change your approach. We can humble ourselves and not be so quick to judge and allow the Holy Spirit to guide our thoughts. Instead, we can focus our attention on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, or praiseworthy. We need not allow the enemy to cast down our countenance. The adversary seeks to kill, steal, and destroy. We can eliminate Satan’s adverse action by accentuating the positive providence of Christ.
Let us pray: Lord Jesus, we will rejoice in you always so that your gentleness and kindness will be evident to all that we meet or greet. Lord, in every situation, we do not need to be anxious about anything because of your faithfulness. Your peace, dear God, transcends all understanding, and you alone will guard our hearts and our minds. Thank you, God, for meeting all our needs according to the riches of your glory in Christ Jesus. Amen
