Heart- the central or innermost part of something.

Crush– bring about a feeling of overwhelming disappointment or embarrassment in (someone).

🔴 LAUGH OFTEN

Proverbs 17:22 “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.”

It is easy to spot a happy person who loves to smile even when wearing a mask during this Corona Virus pandemic. You can see their smile through their eyes, and as you watch, their cheeks rise. There is just something special about people who laugh, express joy, and warmth.

Having a relationship with Jesus gives us reason to smile. It should also give us an attitude of gratitude for all that He has done for us. As believers, we have a reason to rejoice and be happy. We know that we have the hope of living with God forever! No matter how dark and dismal the day, the week, month, or year 2020 is, we can live a life of expectancy and share the love of Christ and His message of salvation with a smile joyfully.

Psalm 126:2 “Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our tongues with songs of joy, Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”

Let’s pray: Thank you, Jesus, that you have given us such joy that you alone can turn our frowns upside down. We can take delight in you and your promises.  You are always with us throughout the rest of this earthly journey into eternity. We love you, Lord, and we are grateful. Amen.
