Daily Bible Study with Purpose

Matthew 14: 35,36 “When the people recognized Jesus, the news of his arrival spread quickly throughout the whole area, and soon people were bringing all their sick to be healed. 36 They begged him to let the sick touch at least the fringe of his robe, and all who touched him were healed.”

🔴 A TOUCH OF HOPE!

When we receive news that a friend or relative is hospitalized, we can panic or pray. Choosing to panic might put you right there beside your loved one or worse. Prayer is your best choice!

We can take confidence when we pray to God that He will answer. Not always the way we may expect, but we can take comfort in knowing that He will hear us and the faith we have in God as our healer gives us hope and optimism for knowing that He is in control and the outcome will be for His glory! Throughout God’s Word, we see that not all sickness leads to death. His Word also teaches us not to be anxious.

Philippians 4:6 “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.”

Our time here on earth is minuscule compared to eternity. Our Hope should be spending eternity with God and our hope in knowing that no perfect thing will He withhold from those who love and accept Him as Lord and Savior!

Do you have this hope? Pray and ask God for Him to touch you and give you this hope that only He can provide!
