🔴 Plant Good Seeds

Bible Reading: Mark 4:3-9, Luke 8:5-8, and Matthew 13:1-9

Mark 4:14 The farmer plants seed by taking God’s word to others.

The seeds are being sprinkled ya’ll where are they falling? By the road, in shallow soil, in the thickets, or will they find a home in fertile soil unobstructed by anger, arrogance, pride, or fear.” ~Torrie Slaughter

I end every episode of Our Given Purpose® the Podcast with these words. If you are familiar with the Parable of the Sower found in Mark 4:3-9, Luke 8:5-8, and Matthew 13:1-9, you should feel a call to action. 🟢 Mark 4:14 The farmer plants seed by taking God’s word to others. What is stopping every person from proclaiming the message of our Most High God? The obvious answer is Christ has not returned, and that revelatory prophecy has not been fulfilled. However, I often wonder why Christ-followers rebel against the purpose of our existence. I’m not perfect; I am a sinner and seek forgiveness.

As you go through your day, think about the many ways you are planting seeds. What is planted in you will be manifested by the choices you make. Are you leading, teaching, guiding, or dictating, harassing, and belittling? Lack of emotional intelligence stunts our growth spiritually. Check your soil and identify who or what is growing without your knowledge.
