Daily Bible Study with Purpose

Joshua 24:15 “And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

🔴 DO OVERS!

Action, rolling, camera, take two! When sitting in the audience when a production is filmed, you submit to instruction. When to be silent, to applaud, and what your posture should be – sitting/standing straight, smiling, limiting coughs (use a mint) no blowing your nose, please – very specific. The director is determined to cast the scene at its best performance, even if having to do multiple takes.

In life, it is great when we have opportunities to make corrections that make us feel better about our performance. However, there are instances when do-overs are not possible. It would be like unbreaking an egg or trying to unscramble it- Or getting back the time squandered away.

Choose this day to decide who will instruct you. Will you serve God and have a relationship with Him? Seek the Lord while you still have a chance and ask Him to be your Savior and Lord.

Matthew 24:42-44Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
