🔴 EMPTY CHAIRS

During this global pandemic of the Covid-19 virus, many of us have experienced losing loved ones. Now we are told by media that the worst is still yet to come! Reflecting on past Thanksgiving dinners with chairs filled with family, friends, and newly adopted single friends sitting around the table compared to this Thanksgiving was somewhat draining. And now, the very thought that Christmas might have this same void at the table could be emotionally depressing.

As we reflect on God’s word, our season, and the empty chairs, let us also be reminded that we also have an empty tomb. He rose on the third day and His promise to return for those who believe in Him. If you have not put your trust in Jesus Christ, please ask Him to save you today! He can change your emptiness to fullness and your sorrow to joy!

Let us pray: Lord, we thank you that there is no life experience that we have that you have not experienced. We only need to study your word to know that there is no hurt, grief, or sorrow that you have not endured. We face alone because you never leave or forsake us. Thank you, God, for giving us your very best, Jesus Christ. Please help us to give ourselves to you without hesitation and bring you glory! Amen.
