Philippians 4:6 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.”

🔴 FEELING OVERWHELMED!

Breathe! Pray! Be still! Sing! Hum! Allow tranquillity to have an opportunity to fill you. It is also a good time to recite the verses of God’s Word or a good time to go to “the rock.” God’s Word is a two-edged sword; if you are in the state of being overwhelmed seems like it would be a good time to slay something!

Settle down! Think about this what can you do about feeling inundated, besieged, overpowered, speechless,  incredulous, or just plain flabbergasted? Do you have a solution, or are you contributing to the problem? If you can help, then help!

If you find yourself being overwhelmed more often than not, ask yourself:
  •  Am I putting my trust in the Lord with all of my heart?
  • Can I submit all my ways to Him and trust God’s plan?
  • Will God make my path straight if I stop blocking those He uses to bring me through situations?

Let us pray: Lord Jesus, as we think about everything that you have done for us and gone through please forgive us. Overwhelming is what you did. Teach us to turn our anxiety to worship and praise for you. Thank you, God. Amen
