Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”
🔴 RATE YOUR ‘TUDE!
Where are you on the attitude scale? Consider your approach, audacity, defiance, and assertiveness when expressing your views before you rate yourself. Do you exude peace, love, kindness, compassion, grace, hope, goodness, faith, and joy? Umm, how is your self-control?
Now let’s study your gratitude? Do you show appreciation for your blessings? Are you giving thanks for the gifts from God and for what others have done?
What about your platitude? Are you commonplace taking everything for granted with a familiar entitlement posture, full of clichés, so dull that you border on insanity?
Are you growing your aptitude? Do you read God’s Word daily? Weekly? Monthly? Seasonally? Are you mindful of setting aside time to develop and learn the talent gift that God has blessed you? Are you striving to live to your most significant potential and acquired skill God wants to prosper you?
How would you rate yourself on a scale of one to ten on the above ‘tudes? How would others rate you?
You can be sure that a life lived without Christ will render your attitude useless, incompetent, clumsy, and ineffective and does not rate!
Don’t allow Satan to rule your mood. Take every thought captive and train them to obey Christ.
Let us pray: Heavenly Father, unite us in humility with you and make our joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Please help us to do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. But in humility, value others above us and not look to our interests but others’ interests. Please help us to reach the highest Altitude, which would be to live with you through eternity. Amen
