None Greater

By Tiffiany Langston

Lord Jesus, Thank you for being great. Thank you for helping us to recognize and receive Your Word. What You said were the greatest commandments you’ve made simple. There will still be some like the Sadducees that question in an attempt to complicate what you have made plain. Father, let that not be the one that seeks to honor Your name.

Lord, continue teaching those who believe in You how to fulfill these commands. For apart from you, there is no lasting victory. Please help us to take the greatest commandments as full and true. Help us live them out as Your mercy invites us into a new day. Lord, Help our next move with the individuals in the world around us; our neighbors, to be our best move.

With a heart that desires to be fully surrendered to Your will and way, every single day, please guide us into prayer, reading your Word, and witnessing. In verse 32 of today’s scripture, we read that- There is one God, and there is no other but He.

How do we even begin to comprehend your goodness, oh God?

We do so only in part and only because of Your love for your creation and the precious soul within. The redemption, the restoration were fulfilled on Calvary. Hallelujah! We praise Your great and Holy name, Lord.

Please help us to be obedient to carry out what you desire. And, Jesus, thank you, for setting the standard. Thank you for being the example of what it means to love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. Help us to remember what was accomplished on the cross.

Help us to yield our lives to the Holy Spirit that we may be the hands and feet of Jesus—extending the love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness and faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control that comes from Your Spirit.

You are good. There is none greater. Amen.
