🔴Faith Check

Guiding Scripture: Proverbs 12:24 NLT Work hard and become a leader; be lazy and become a slave.’ Proverbs 12:24 NIV, The hand of the diligent, will rule, while the slothful will be put to forced labor.

The enemy will tempt us in this microwave society. He knows we want ‘stuff’ without effort and as quickly as possible. Most importantly, the enemy knows that we need praise for our continuous efforts.
In kindness, God may show you what is possible after wandering for 40 years. Moses saw the land of Cannan but was not allowed to lead the Israelites into the Promised land. Joshua, son of Nun, succeeded Moses and was capable of continuing the duties and strategically moving in God’s direction.

Why wasn’t Moses or Aaron able to complete the mission?

Deuteronomy 32:51 reminds us that they did not uphold God’s holiness among the Israelites. By applying the exodus lessons to our lives, we can be diligent in our efforts. Ask God to increase your faith and align your thoughts with His.

As Christ-followers, we need to be mindful of the schemes of the enemy. God delights in those who watch for His coming. We can truly dress ourselves to serve and be ready to wait on the Lord. (Luke 12:37)
