Guiding Scripture: Luke 11:9-10

🔴Love is Inclusive

Warning: Worry, doubt, fear, shame, guilt- these emotions have the power to take up residency in our minds. They divide and define relationships preventing humility that keeps us from asking, seeking, knocking.

Jesus teaches us that some areas will not accept God’s blessing. (Matthew 13:58) As people, we are often blind to the miraculous wonders our Lord wants to provide.

Proverbs 12:15 The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice.

Brothers and Sisters:

  • What has been moved just out of your reach, causing you to fail?
  • What are you leaning on to keep your balance?

If we ask the wrong people and seek to be more like this world by balancing on temporary things, we will collapse. It is a design of the enemy to distract us from right living. The pretenders are giving us wax fruit. The wax fruit of the pretenders looks beautiful and beneficial from a distance, but we are disappointed when we take a bite. Those who know their fate want to kill, steal, and destroy God’s children.

But God!

He teaches us to be resilient and how to overcome the weapons formed against us.(Isaiah 54:17) Approach the throne of God with humility and keep asking, seeking, and knocking. The consequences of our actions will remain; however, our Lord forgives, and He will not let us starve.

Meditate on Forgiveness

Prayer changes our focus. Remember God knows our thoughts, sees our deeds, and knows how we will react. As He taught His disciples, Christ Jesus leaves this message of forgiveness for us (Luke 11:4). Forgiveness is the act of setting aside punishment and resentment for an offense. It is a condition of repentance. The effect of forgiveness is the restoration of the parties involved to the former state of a relationship. We want to be restored to Christ our God first, which means we must forgive others. Forgiveness is a duty and limitless….yes that means repeated.

By trusting in God for the right things, we can have confidence that our Lord will provide. Submit to His will to be done and receive the eternal reward.

Prayer: Lord my God, we trust you to remove anything that hinders us from bearing fruit for You. We know you can do the impossible, help us in our unbelief that we may follow wholeheartedly after you. Father, you work all things together for good and will graciously give us all things. We will bear with one another and forgive each other as you; our Lord has forgiven us. We put on the love that binds everything together in perfect harmony. We are thankful. Amen.
