Bible Study & Devotional Day 81

Guiding Scripture: Psalm 65:1 Praise is due to you, O God, in Zion, and to you shall vows be performed.
🔴 Vow to Praise
Vow- the first idea that we have is marriage. A vow becomes a recited verbal contract in front of witnesses and the Lord, to love, honor, support, and obey. We agree to partner with one another to faithfully follow God’s commands and His ordinance of marriage. We can also vow to unite with believers in the body of Christ to uphold the standards of our Lord.
In Psalm 65, the author invites us to praise our Most High God. Through God’s presence, protection, strength, sovereignty, provision, and blessing, we too can exalt Him. If we meditate on the many ways God wants us to benefit from His magnificent power, we ought to praise Him more.
Yesterday we read the temptation of Christ and all the enemy wanted to provide temporarily. Satan speaks to our ego, pride, and fleshly desires. As the father of lies (John 8:44, Genesis 3:4 ), he intentionally places doubt and shame into our consciousness. In sharp contrast, Jesus, the Son of God, wants to give us abundant life. That is worthy of all our praise in corporate worship and silent anticipation of what will come.
The Ways of God provides us with an opportunity to learn His honest character and grow in discernment. Guidance through the truth of His Word gives us all the ability to exercise caution and lead others in a manner that motivates others.
How will you praise our sovereign God for his protection, provision, strength, and blessing of your land? Will He find you leading by example?
Don’t keep the praise to yourself; share it with God and those around you. Be encouraged by influencing others to take part in the great commission with you.
Say yes to glorifying the One who:
- Is our salvation and answers us with righteousness
- Established the mountains and stills the roaring seas
- Prepares and provides for our every need
- Blesses the growth of our crops and enriches the land
- Creates all that we use and nourishes the overflow
Remember, God leads His people to abundance, and we can faithfully follow His roadmap. The enemy schemes pull our focus towards things of this world and add confusion.
Proverbs 11:23 The desire of the righteous only good: But the expectation of the wicked is wrath.
Give praise to God and authentically communicate His character through your actions. He deserves our reverence, obedience, and love.
