Bible Study & Devotional Day 264

You are Worthy

Contributing writer: Kendra Dublin

Dear God, I thank you for your unfailing love for your people. I thank you for keeping me long enough to tell another testimony.

I give praise to you as you heard my plea. For 23 years, I dealt with extreme cycles. Sometimes I couldn’t sleep, work or focus on the day, but you held me long enough for a testimony.

I give you honor for the times you kept me through my cycle that led me to the Emergency room and Urgent care to tend to unknown scares. You allowed me to live and take medicine in the meantime, so I thank you for being faithful to me long enough for a testimony.

You gave me a plan to counteract those hopeless types of days. You helped me as I coped with the pain through the means of the world’s health care. Consequently, I thank you for holding me up long enough for a testimony.

I honor you, Lord, for testing me throughout the years to help me gain faith in your power and strength. You showed me many instances of your glory and superiority to earthly pains. You gave me a new lens to seek your healing more fervently through alcoholism, food poisoning, and many unseen moments. Those events expedited my growth, so I thank you for keeping me long enough for a testimony.

God, I shout in amazement as I prayed one night for you to take my crippling pain away as I came upon a new cycle. With a deepened level of faith, you led me to put away my medicine, turn off the faucet and do away with any limits on your power. You took my pain away instantly for the first time in 23 years! And you did it the following month. God, I can’t stop praising your name for carrying me long enough for another testimony.

If you want healing say a prayer in faith, and just like the lepers, walk as if it’s already done. Go ahead and do it today because TOMORROW IS TOO LATE TO BE GREAT and to be healed.
