I’ve witnessed some ‘sticky’ situations that brought confusion and tested the limits of right versus wrong. When things don’t add up, the scale is off-balance.

As you ask God to help you navigate your day think about what you value. Is it prestige, wealth, legacy, or godliness? If there are areas of your life that cause people to question your confidence in God, it is time to recalibrate the scale of your thinking.

A bribe is used to persuade someone to act dishonestly in one’s favor by a gift of money or another incentive.

Acquit or Punish

Leaders in organizations lose the respect of their teams when they justify wicked actions. There are no small matters when it comes to the overall health of partners. Dealing with issues openly and honestly reduces the lure to deny justice to the innocent.

If all the people in your family, business, church, or organization do what is right in their eyes, how successful will it become? Is the bribe worth arousing the anger of God?

Prayer: Lord, we thank you for your everlasting love. You are a righteous God and the Lover of our souls. Thank you for your patience as we seek to do what is right in Your eyes. Please be with us in every matter so that we may give you the glory. Amen
