🔴Our Eternal Hope

With a sigh, we notice how time ticks by- in our busyness of life. It is so important that we remember that our life is just but a vapor. In all generations of humanity, God has been his dwelling place. As a matter of fact, this Psalm reminds us that God was there before He created the mountains and earth. He is from everlasting to everlasting.

Moses, the author of Psalm 90-91, asks God to teach us to know the number of days and wisdom so we may spend our days wisely. I think about how God has a purpose for each
of His creations because he is an intentional, meticulous, and purposeful God. He does nothing by happenstance.

All things in time and in purpose.

How often do you find yourself asking God for wisdom that you may fulfill your days wisely? I know I need to do that more often! In this wondrous, expansive world, we live in our creator, Father God, who sees and understands us. He sees our sins, our
heartaches, and our heart desires. God still pours out His love toward us and wants us to trust Him and ask for direction, favor, and goodness.

When was the last time you asked Him for protection, for His angels to cover you?

The following verses are so powerful, and they are a promise from God to you and me.

(Psalm 91:14-15)
14 Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. 15 He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life, I will satisfy him and show him my salvation

Prayer: Father God, help me know that my days are numbered and how to live them to the fullest, grant me wisdom to know my purpose and my place in you.
