Bible Study & Devotional Day 41

🔴 The Call of Wisdom

John 1:1-2, In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God.

Wisdom was at the foundation of the earth.

It lived among the animals and the humans, granting understanding to all who invite her. Does not wisdom call out? We would benefit from listening, hearing, and acting as our Lord. What wisdom is said to hate, the Lord hates, and what wisdom gives, the Lord provides. As you absorb and meditate on all of today’s reading, take some time and pray over the words in Proverbs 8:27-32.

Self-Examination

Procrastination is the act of delaying or postponing a set of tasks.
  • What have you avoided because of fear?
  • Do I look under the surface?
  • Am I able to overlook offenses?

God is our greatest Source of development, mentally, physically, and spiritually. His living Word is profitable for teaching, training in righteousness, and correction. (2 Timothy 3:16) Wisdom enters the lives of the faithful and enables them to be rational at the heart. We do well to abide in the Lord.
