Guiding Scripture: Psalm 147:1 ‘Praise the Lord. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise him!’

Cross Reference: Exodus 15:2, “The LORD is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise Him, my Father’s God, and I will exalt Him.”

🔴 Hallelujah

We may not think to applaud a sandwich set before us because it seems too simple. But if we are experiencing ‘HanGry,’ we will likely show more appreciation. Doing a little dance while one eats also signals that it tastes good and is exactly what one wants.

And so it is when God gives us the very thing we need at precisely the right time. We praise and worship Him. Because praise is the personal response, we experience of God’s deliverance and favor. We ‘praise God from who all blessings flow.’

I believe our God gives us things we can see so that our trust can continue to grow. Isn’t that awesome?! Our loving Father abundantly sustains, protects, and shows His power over creation as proof that He is Sovereign.

As you read today’s passages, think about how God blesses you and keeps His promise. Focus on the nonmaterial items and ponder how it fits into His glorious plan.

Prayer: Gracious and Majestic God, we praise you in season and out! Thank you for your steadfast love and enduring with your servants. Amen
