Cross Reference: Jeremiah 23:24, ” Can a man hide in secret places where I cannot see him?” declares the LORD. “Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?” declares the LORD. 

 

 

🔴 God IS All

The convergence of God’s all-knowing power and presence is clearly depicted in Psalm 139. As King David sings God’s praise, expresses strong emotions, and delivers wisdom, we see the attributes of God.

Psalm 139:7-12 shows David’s understanding that:

• God’s limitless power controls the elements. 
• Our LORD is all-knowing of the past, present, and future. 
• God is divine, and His presence encompasses the whole of the universe. 

We can praise God for His sovereignty, and in His majesty, He cares for each of His children. It is incredible to ask our Maker to search us and remove our wickedness. Our Abba Father can remove anything that opposes His glory; He casts away. That is a powerful prayer and declaration! 

God sees us and knows exactly where we are and what we experience. The godly cannot escape His presence because He is with us always.

As we read today’s assigned passages, I pray we can stand before the LORD as David and ask Him to search us. Let us remember that God knows everything about us, and He opens up the way for us to enter into His presence. 

Prayer:  “Search me, God, and know my heart, test me and know my anxious thoughts. Remove any offensive way in me and lead me to your everlasting Kingdom,” (Psalm 139:23-24). I welcome you into my heart and mind. Amen
