Guiding Scripture: Psalm 135:3,‘Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good; sing praise to his name, for that is pleasant.’

Cross Reference: Revelation 19:5, “Then a voice came from the throne, saying: “Praise our God, all you who serve Him, and those who fear Him, small and great alike!”

Exodus 15:2, “The LORD is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise Him, my father’s God, and I will exalt Him.”

Psalm 113:1 “Hallelujah! Give praise, O servants of the LORD; praise the name of the LORD.”

 

 

 

🔴 Hallelujah (Hallu-Yah)

{The term hallu-yah means “praise Yah,” a shortened form of the name Yahweh (YHWH)}

There are so many things for which we can thank God. Psalm 135 is an incredible place to start remembering who God is and His sovereignty.

• He is the God of the gods. (Psalm 135:5)
• The God of the whole world. (Psalm 135:6-7)
• He is the terrible God to the enemies and the gracious God of His people. (Psalm 135:8-14)
• He is the only living God! (Psalm 135:15-18)

For that, we can say Hallelujah!

As you go throughout this day, praise the Lord for His mercy, power, and grace. He has done and continues to do great things. We can all rejoice as we worship our Heavenly Father in word and song! Raise a ‘Hallelujah’ and glorify His Name.

 

Prayer:  Lord, we turn to you. Allow us to face everything and rise with you going ahead. We know all the battles are not ours to fight alone. You give us the strength to endure. Father, I pray for those who need your power right now to be fearless against the adversary. Abba Father, may we become bolder; please increase our faith and diminish our doubt. Amen.
