Guiding Scripture: Hebrews 13:1 ‘Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters.’
🔴 An Appeal to Love
written by: Torrie Slaughter
The letter to the Hebrews ends with several duties that will stir up the good fruits of faith. The author advises the Hebrews to show hospitality to strangers and kindness to those in bonds. He speaks about marriage and how they should imitate the righteous teachers of the faith.
We are instructed to respect faithful pastors and practice discernment when false teaching abounds. We should not be afraid or discouraged because we have a Savior who has gone away to prepare a place for us.
As you complete the reading of this epistle, I pray hope fills you. We have an incredible opportunity to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. Be bold and unashamed as you keep loving each other.
Prayer: Psalm 115:1 ‘Not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.’
