Guiding Scripture: Hebrews 10:23 ‘Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.’
🔴 Persevere
written by: Torrie Slaughter
Hebrews 10:19-25 calls for believers to persevere. With confidence, we can persist in a state, enterprise, or undertaking despite counter-influences, opposition, or discouragement. And we can encourage one another at the same time.
The way into the very presence of God is now open for all.
The author of the Hebrews letter tells us that the new covenant is an eternal blessing that we can experience if we believe in Christ. The finality of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice is the greatest gift of love, grace, and mercy.
How much more can we endure because Jesus the Son of God persevered on our behalf?
As you read today’s passages and meditate on God’s Word think about your faithfulness. I pray we maintain a bold, steadfast faith while living this life with integrity.
Prayer: Abba Father, we thank you for your grace and mercy. Please be with us as we continue to walk in alignment with you. Amen
