Guiding Scripture: Hebrews 9:16-17 ‘In the case of a will, it is necessary to prove the death of the one who made it, because a will is in force only when somebody has died; it never takes effect while the one who made it is living. ‘
🔴 Don’t Walk Away
written by: Torrie Slaughter
The old sacrificial system is fulfilled, and we await the return of Christ. His death is superior to the daily and yearly animal sacrifices made through the prophets, and Jesus covers humanity through His blood.
Inheritance
If you have experienced a death in your family, perhaps there was a will read disclosing how to distribute the deceased’s property. Here is the great part, Jesus gave all and for everyone. That means His last will and testament are available to anyone who receives Jesus as their Savior!
As you read today’s passages, think about God’s great mercy. Give thanks to the Lord for all the ways He provides for you. His love endures forever and is a bonding glue that holds His people together.
Prayer: Lord, we love you and thank you for your wonderful deeds. You satisfy our needs completely, and we are filled. Please help us to walk with wisdom and honor your gift of eternal life.
