Jesus, our Lord, and Savior, is our eternal salvation. Through Him, we can have life. As Hebrews chapter 7 continues to enlighten us to Christ’s sovereignty, it gives us an excellent opportunity to meditate on our Lord.
John 14:16 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Jesus offered Himself as the ultimate and final sacrifice. The Levitical Priesthood atoned for their sins and the sins of the people through the blood of an unblemished lamb. Jesus came to give life as a perfect Lamb of God.
John 1:1, In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
God spoke through people, prophets, and even animals, but His Word, Jesus, is His complete authorship. An eternal masterpiece presented as divine truth and wisdom.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Our God is merciful and kind. Through Jesus, we are redeemed.
Prayer: Abba Father, thank you for providing us an escape from sin. Please help us to live worthy with bold faith. Amen.
