Guiding Scripture: James 1:12 ESV “Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.”

🔴Don’t Die in the Desert Your Season is Coming

The power of waiting can be amazingly wonderful when your faith is in God. Today started like any other day while seeking a way to spend a day of rest while on vacation.

I had an idea to visit the Zugspitze, the highest peak in Germany. We had toured this area 5 times, and the timing was always wrong ~ rain or clouds seemed to obstruct the view, so investing in taking the trip seemed fruitless.

But today, I visited the counter to ask what the view was like at the Zugspitze and received a green light that today was a perfect day. I asked for details on how to get there; you will need to take the train from one of these locations, or you can take the Skylift to the top – the same options for returning down the mountain.

Filled with anticipation, I quickly prepared to take the trip.

As Micah and I discussed how we’d get there, we both couldn’t believe it – it was finally happening. We were absolutely giddy. We’d been waiting so long to go to the top of this mountain.

With map and GPS in hand, we set out to see the sight where we could behold the beauty of His Glory.

“One thing I ask from the Lord,

this only do I seek:

that I may dwell in the house of the Lord

all the days of my life,

to gaze on the beauty of the Lord

and to seek him in his temple.” ~ Psalm 27:4

Zugspitze

We arrived just in time to take the Skylift to the highest peak of 2962 meters. The wait was finally over.

As I was looking out the window of the Skylift, I reflected over each time I had tried to take this trip.

DON’T GIVE UP ~ KEEP TRUSTING

Life happens, obstacles get in the way, but that shouldn’t cause us to stop or give up. Sometimes, the Lord needs to prepare us for what is ahead to equip us for what’s next.

If you’re not ready for where he is taking you, how can you bless others?

Each season in our lives is for a purpose. Obstacles and detours had happened for us over the past six years.

Job loss, health issues, financial crisis, emotional stress, but today I would “SEE.”

The phrase “See Me, See Me” had been in my heart for weeks, and somehow today, I had the expectancy of Seeing Him.

And so, as I rode to the top, my heart was full of gladness and my eyes full of tears that God had granted me this wonderful opportunity and fulfilled my heart’s desire.

His timing is always perfect, and the view was well worth the wait. Today I stood at the highest peak in Germany- my heart reconciled with those that I had struggled to forgive. I was overjoyed because I had seen His miraculous power heal our daughter, I was in Awe of Him to see employment returned to my spouse, and I was breathing in God’s faithfulness and exhaling stress.

We walked around this “city” in the sky and enjoyed the majestic work of God’s hands.

I had reached a height of release that lifted every heavy burden. I could let go of hurt, bitterness, unforgiveness, anxiety, and worry.

GOD DESIRES TO LIFT THE HEAVINESS OF YOUR HEART ~ YOU CAN LAY IT AT HIS FEET TODAY.

“Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways, and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me. For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.” Matthew 11:28-30 TPT

What are you waiting for today? Trust Him to Bring It to Pass.
