🔴 The Kingdom of Heaven is Like,
In Genesis 41:44, Pharaoh gave authority to Joseph to govern the land as he saw fit. Even though Pharaoh was the ultimate man in charge, he yielded to Joseph and His God.
To be elevatedto a level of prestige and honor after false imprisonment could make anyone bitter. Yet, Joseph praised the Lord(Gen 41:51-52) for making him forget his grief and the separation from his father’s house.
The other incredible takeaway is the re-established trust. Whether Pharaoh believed his wife’s allegations (Gen. 39:17-20) against Joseph were immaterial in light of the current circumstance. Joseph had proven himself loyal before, steadfast while imprisoned, and presently a man of God.
How can we apply this character example of faith to our lives?
God blesses those who love Him and humble themselves before His throne. Our Lord keeps His covenant promise. I believe God gave Joseph a shot of hope as he gathered grain throughout the land of Egypt. Genesis 41:49 tells us that Joseph stopped counting or weighing the abundance of grain because it was immeasurable. That is the result of being aligned with God’s will!
Put a bookmark in Genesis 42, and we will continue the discussion of Joseph and his brothers tomorrow.
The Kingdom of Heaven is like a continual flow of love. It is open communication and a bevy of divine fellowship. The Kingdom of Heaven is the place where God and His creation will dwell. The Kingdom is a mustard seed providing all the necessary needs for her people.
What is a seed?
It is an embryonic plant in an outer protective covering. Nothing happens with the seed until it is placed in an area to develop. We can refer to the parable of the Sower to meditate.(Matt. 13:1-13)
- Where have you planted seeds?
- Have your roots begun to sprout?
The mustard seed is so small it is barely visible when surrounded by other things. Christ has stealthily planted his Word in our hearts, and we may not notice it. As believers, we can impact lives in the tiniest of ways. We have become great servants under our Abba Father’s rule.
