🔴Hide the Lie

I didn’t understand this proverb until I began ministry. The lengths that people will go to protect themselves are astounding. But before I started pointing fingers and blaming others, I asked God to reveal my foolishness.
It’s so much easier to point out misbehavior and sin, especially when we must confront someone.

However, by being transparent, we can grow and cover others with love. Wickedness perverts the Gospel and creates confusion within organizations.

As you read today, think about those under your umbrella. If they don’t recognize their destructive behavior, ask if they feel you’re doing wrong. Ultimately, meeting in the middle assists with the transformation. But if it does not, be mindful of how many lives the ‘fool’ will disrupt. Is disorder the goal of your group?

 Prayer: Lord, I give you praise. Thank you for the courage and wisdom to admit my failure. Please help me to remain humble and not create chaos or confusion if my behavior is reckless. You have given me a great responsibility; I want to guide with Your divine wisdom. Encourage Your children to be obedient and follow the footsteps of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen
