Bible Study & Devotional Day 158

Guiding Scripture: 1 Kings 3:7 AMP ‘So now, O Lord my God, You have made Your servant king in place of David, my father; and as for me, I am but a little boy [ in wisdom and experience]; I do not know how to go out or come in [that is, how to conduct business as a king].

🔴Conducting Business

People often say they ‘dabble’ in certain things. Hobbies fall under that category. It is an interest that perhaps they would love to pursue but, they lack the wisdom to see it become profitable. Entrepreneurs are people who desire to be different. They aren’t afraid to take a risk and learn from failure- or at least that’s the norm.

King Solomon knew what he lacked. God saw the influence his wives and political associations had in his spiritual development. The effects of our peers and inner circles dictate how much Jesus we show to the world.

As you read today’s passages, ask yourself how often you’ve prayed for wisdom. Making small changes in our conversations with God will have a significant impact on our lives. Stop dabbling in the areas God has called you to be His ambassador. Be bold and decide to trust His leadership and plan for your future. If we all conducted business from a kingdom mindset image how that could change the world!
