Guiding Scripture: Proverbs 15:22 ‘Without consultation and wise advice, plans are frustrated, But with many counselors, they are established and succeed.’
🔴Conspiracy
Imagine evading death so you could fulfill a greater purpose. As you read today’s passages, think about the parallels between David, Saul, Jesus, and the rejectors.
A conspiracy is a set of circumstances that seem to work together to bring about a particular result, typically to someone’s detriment.
What’s even more interesting is a conspiracy in criminal law is an agreement between two or more persons to commit a future crime (John 11:53). While King Saul slept with his royal guard surrounding him, God allowed David an opening to begin his reign (1 Samuel 26:10).
Conspiring against the Lord is not an intelligent decision. David wisely chose to leave vengeance to the living God.
I encourage you to read the fullness of the Bible story each time you turn the page. We have much we can glean from its wisdom. If we are willing, the Holy Spirit will be our instructor.
