Guiding Scripture: 1 Samuel 3:8-9 ‘And the Lord called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli and said, “Here I am, for you called me.” Then Eli perceived that the Lord was calling the boy. ‘ ‘Therefore Eli said to Samuel, “Go, lie down, and if he calls you, you shall say, ‘Speak, Lord , for your servant hears.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
🔴 Listen to God!
God has a purpose for you! Can you hear Him calling!
Philippians 2:3-4 Says: Do nothing according to selfish ambition or according to empty conceit, but in humility considering one another better than yourselves, each of you is not looking out for your own interests but also each of you for the interests of others.
While we consistently follow God’s command to further our education, developing the qualities that will allow Him to use us in His Kingdom, we need to continue practicing love and humility.
The Word tells us in Psalm 106:3, ‘Blessed are they who observe justice, who do righteousness at all times! ‘
As you read today’s scriptures, meditate on God’s teaching. What is He trying to tell you? How can you incorporate obedience and honesty into every circumstance?
