Bible Study & Devotional Day 105

Guiding Scripture:‘For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. ‘ Psalms 84:11
‘The righteous hate what is false, but the wicked make themselves a stench and disgrace themselves. ‘ Proverbs 13:5
🔴 Undone
One conviction the Holy Spirit planted in me was to solve a different problem. Once I began this ministry, I knew I would encounter spiritual and emotional challenges. Preparing with God each day and putting on my armor is how I depend on His strength. We can do our part, receive enough for the day, and move strategically with focused intention.
To help others thrive in their unique gifts would mean they could not be intimidated or offended by my behavior. Well, that was a hefty burden to carry and quickly exhausted my strength. I grew bitter and tired of creatively voicing concerns while attempting to implement effective strategies.
AND THEN:
The Lord opened my eyes and heart to understand that I was fighting against the flesh, not the principalities who were at work. Those who refused to obey God because of their scarcity mindset. (Ephesians 2:2)
To solve a different problem means following God’s instruction leaving nothing undone. (Joshua 11:15) While I wait for my subsequent assignments, the Lord softened my heart to be present. Those who understand His will for their lives comprehend how God works through everyone.
The battles we fight now will bring peace later.
While Joshua, the Israelites leader, followed Moses’s example of taking direction from the Lord, we can also prosper His kingdom. Neither of these Old Testament leaders did everything perfectly and invited destruction onto the nation. But God has a plan and knows our hearts. Don’t be afraid to do exactly as the Lord leads (leave nothing undone). The outcome will bring peace to prepare you for the next battle. (Joshua 11:23) Let the land of your mind rest.
