🔴 Is God First?
- Consult to seek information or advice from (someone with expertise in a particular area).
- Consequence a result or effect of an action or condition.
Before beginning any new venture, we should pray to make sure we are aligning with God. Our spirit guides us, but we still have to deal with our flesh and our success ideas. Being obedient means, we have to know what to do. And how will we know if we don’t ask?
The Gibeonites tricked Joshua into a peace treaty. A formal acknowledgment of their friendship. The Gibeonites were crafty and protected themselves from the impending slaughter that was sure to come.
As you read today’s passages, think about the bonds you’ve made. Have you entered into an agreement before consulting God? Meditate on His Word and ask the difficult questions. We spiritually grow when we take everything before the Lord.
